How we verify and compare prices

APIPK presents public prices alongside their conditions to help you compare costs. Checking a published quote, testing actual billing and testing API availability provide different kinds of evidence.

Page content updated:

Which quotes qualify for the lowest-price comparison?

Model version, generation type, resolution, quality and output count must match. Fixed per-image quotes qualify when the published price, conditions and all cost components have been checked. A per-call quote must explicitly return one image. Unspecified quality cannot be treated as Medium or another named tier.

Token rates without input and output usage are not per-image costs. Starting prices, conflicting sources, withdrawn offers and expired promotions are excluded from definitive lowest-price conclusions. Monthly and annual plans are calculated against expected usage in Cost & Pricing, separately from pay-as-you-go prices.

Currencies and purchase requirements

USD and CNY displays use the site exchange-rate snapshot. Converted prices support comparison; they are not a payment settlement rate and exclude payment fees. Check the initial payment, subscription and conditions required for the quoted price.

Quotes with an unpublished initial payment do not pass an upfront-payment filter. Unused plan credits, annual prepayment and overage charges change the effective cost. A complete budget is not calculated when required overage rules are missing.

What does “checked” mean?

“Official quote checked” means the published price and conditions were reviewed. “Billing tested” needs an actual call and billing evidence. “Availability tested” needs a successful call under documented conditions and at a stated time. Checking a quote does not establish either test result.

Each record retains its own sources and dates. “Latest quote update” refers only to the most recently updated record in that scope, not a same-day review of all providers. Untested does not mean unavailable, and one successful test does not guarantee continued availability.

How are free image counts calculated?

Counts are the free allowance divided by the cost per image, rounded down. Resolution and quality tiers follow the listed order. The grant, claim conditions, eligible models and cost per image must all be checked. Free website generation does not automatically include a free API.

Daily, weekly, monthly and one-time allowances stay separate. The daily maximum takes each channel’s largest count among confirmed eligible models and counts a shared balance only once. Tiers that cannot cover one image are identified. Other periods are not converted into daily allowances.

What can samples and model tests establish?

Source samples can help you inspect composition, text and prompt details. One image, a similar model name or a successful API call cannot establish model identity, general image quality or a stable success rate. The model-test page retains sample sources and analysis limitations.

Updates, conflicts and corrections

Records are checked individually; APIPK does not promise a fixed update schedule or live prices. When public sources conflict, the provider’s official pricing page takes priority. A quote with unresolved conditions remains reference-only or is excluded from comparison.

To report a changed price, free-access rule or link, send the page URL, quote name and official source. Do not send an API key, a full billing statement or other sensitive information.

Feature click analytics

The site already uses Umami for page-visit analytics. These feature events attach only public model, channel, quote or specification identifiers to understand model selection, detail views, source views and provider visits. Event properties do not include keys, prompts, search text or other entered content.
